Port Days

Consider scheduling your spa services on a port day if you don’t need to get off for long periods of time at one of the ports.

Make sure to ask at the spa services counter what discounted rates they have for port days. Most cruise lines offer discounts for port days because they are less busy with most people getting off the ship. Often times you can get 10% - 25% off spa services when you schedule your appointment on a port day.

Attend a tour

On some embarkation days, the spa will give tours or a talk to try to sell you on using their services. At the end, they sometimes offer discounts when booking. If you were planning on getting a massage or other service, you could save some cash by listening to some sales pitches.

Speaking of sales pitches, expect to get one at the end of every appointment. Sadly it’s pretty unavoidable. Be prepared to say no a bunch.
